Key Club News

The Rochelle Township High School Key Club received their new T-Shirts for the year. Jessica Dilling displays the shirt worn by key clubbers at events around the school and community.
Key Club president Drake Siwicki wasn't able to attend our annual awards banquet on February 17th, so Archie Millott (L) and Dennis Swinton, Golden K Key Club advisors, presented Drake with a certificate of appreciation for the fine job he's done this year.	Eight RHTS Key Club members attended the annual District Convention (DCON) at Indian Lakes Resort, Bloomingdale, IL April 8-10. They interacted with Key Club members from around the state of Illinois and Eastern Iowa, and returned with some great ideas on how to expand their club.
The Key Club held their annual election of officers on Tuesday, March 29th. The following members were elected for fiscal year 2011-2012: President: Rachel Cardott Vice President: Chelsea Erickson Secretary: Cody McMurray Treasurer: Ben Shank Statistical Secretary: Jessica Dilling We wish these Key Club members well, knowing they will not only provide strong leadership, but find their work memorable and fulfilling.	Drake Siwiki, past president of RTHS Key Club, and junior at RTHS, was elected to the office of Treasurer for the Illinois-Iowa District of Key Club International athe the Key Club district convention, the weekend of April 8-10. Drake will be attendting the international convention in Phoenix, AZ in June where he will be receiving training. We wish Drake well in his new role. He is asset to RTHS and our Key Club.
